Crusader Kings 3's first big expansion won't be out until 2022

The Royal Court DLC has been delayed

At the PDX Con in May, the Paradox Royal Court announced a full-size expansion of the Crusader Kings 3 following the smaller Northern Lords DLC. No release date is mentioned, but it has been uploaded for pre-order on Steam and the Paradox Store and will be released shortly. However, as Paradox announced in the forum, it's not ready this year.

When ready, the court adds a 3D throne room where you can open the court with your vassals and courtiers. With the new spectacular system, you can spend money to maintain the look. The improved cultural system also takes into account linguistic differences (and learning of new cultural differences) and the diversity of values, traditions and pillars of each culture. Artists and craftsmen invited to a good court will return treasures and crafts in exchange for protection.

The developers are not happy with the current stability of the Royal Court extension and wrote: "Wait for the news of the 2022 Pronto release date." For more information, see the Royal Court FAQ.
